1 Q: How will my fireplace arrive?

A: Your fireplace will arrive on a common carrier truck equiped with lift gate to get the fireplace on the ground for residential areas. The entire unit will come on one skid and there after can be moved in sections to its final destination. Note: Please check all shipments for any external damage.

2 Q: Do I use the mortar mix between the modular pieces?

A: No, the mortar mix is only used for aesthetics purposes on the outside seams. Only after the fireplace is completely stacked will you add the mortar mix to the outside seams.

3 Q: What tools are required for the set up of my Nexø?

A: Only muscle, a bucket, and a stick to mix the mortar mix with water. Two people can assemble the fireplace but it is easier with three.

4 Q: Can I use the fireplace in a screened in porch?

A: no

5 Q: Can it go on a wood deck?

A: Yes it can, but we suggest you re-enforce the deck underneath the fireplace and you place a non combustible surface under the fireplace and extend it 2-3 feet in front of the fireplace to catch any falling embers.

6 Q: How close can I get it to an adjacent structure?

A: There is no standard on this, however we suggest that you place the fireplace at least 10 feet from any structure.

7 Q: If I use a cement pad under the fireplace, how thick should the cement be?

A: The cement pad should be at least 3 inches thick

8 Q: Can I put the fireplace on grass?

A: Yes, as long as fireplace is level and balanced.

9 Q: What is the warranty for Nexø fireplaces?

A: We offer a one year warranty on any manufacturers defect. This is a product that will last for decades if taken care of.

10 Q: Are the fireplaces finished on all sides?

A: Of course they are! Nexø outdoor fireplaces look great from every angle.

11 Q: How much do the modules weigh?

A: Sections of the fireplace will vary from 150 – 250 lbs. they can be moved short distances with a hand truck, dolly, or even a wheel barrow..

12 Q: What do I do if the fireplace arrives damaged.

A: It there is obvious damage to the fireplace when it arrives, make sure you do a thorough inspection of the product before you sign for it,. If the fireplace is broken, refuse shipment and write damaged on the Bill of lading and contact us. we will make arrangements to ship you another fireplace.
